Transportation
The transportation information that follows is up-to-date as of the launch of the ASBA online registration site. Please be sure to check all information right before the conference to confirm details.
Buses will go between the venues: Buses have been provided between the venues and for field trips. If you stay in a hotel other than the Chaparral Suites, however, the ASBA will not be responsible for your transportation.
Parking at the Chaparral Suites:
Parking is available on-site for no extra charge.
Getting to the Chaparral Suites from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX):
The Chaparral Suites has a complimentary shuttle between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the Resort. Call 1.800.528.1456 in advance to schedule.

Directions: Head west toward E Sky Harbor Blvd. Take a slight left at E Sky Harbor Blvd. Sharp right to stay on E Sky Harbor Blvd. Slight left to stay on E Sky Harbor Blvd. Turn left at N Priest Dr. Continue on N Galvin Pkwy. Getting to the Desert Botanical Gardens from the
Chaparral Suites Resort:
Distance from hotel: 5.1 mi. Drive time: 13 min. Directions: Head north on N Scottsdale Rd toward E Orange Blossom Ln. Make a U-turn at E Orange Blossom Ln. Turn right at E Indian School Rd. Turn left at N 64th St. Continue on N Galvin Pkwy. Turn left at Desert Botanical Gardens. Turn left to stay on Desert Botanical Gardens. Turn-by-turn directions
Desert Botanical Garden also is accessible by Valley Metro light rail and bus system. Complete light rail directions can be found at the Valley Metro web site. The Valley Metro bus stops at the intersection of McDowell Road and 64th Street. From the bus stop it is a five-minute walk to the Garden admissions area.

Car Rental on site:
Last, but not least, if you need a car, Chaparral Suites has a Dollar Car Rental on site in case you want to rent a car from the hotel location and return it there (as opposed to the airport.) To speak with them, you can call 1.480.949.1414 and ask for Dollar.
