How to Register

The ASBA 16th Annual Meeting and Conference is early this year, so the only time the conference information will appear in the journal, The Botanical Artist is in the June issue. Registration is available online until August 22, 2010.

Please note these important deadlines and policies:

1. Current ASBA membership is required for registration.

2. ASBA Annual Meeting and Conference is a three-day event. Partial registration is not available.

3. Registration fee on or before August 1, Save $30, online or postmarked:
$340 for current members
$425 for non-members joining ASBA at the same time they register

Registration fee after August 1, online or postmarked:
$370 for current members
$455 non-members joining at same time.

4. Registration Deadline: Registration is closed as of August 22, 2010. No registrations accepted after this date.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy: A $75 cancellation fee will be applied to those canceling after August 22, 2010. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after September 9, 2010. ASBA reserves the right to cancel any workshop that does not meet a minimum registration.

6. Hotel reservations at Holiday Inn Select University Center Pittsburgh reservations:
For reservation, call Lauren Cahill at 1.412.682.6259, email her or call the Holiday Inn Central Reservations at 1.800.864.8287. You can also make your reservations online. Be sure to enter your arrival/departure dates and the group code: ASB.

You must ask for the American Society of Botanical Artists Annual Meeting & Conference block to receive the Conference rate. The ASBA block room rate is good if booked by September 10, 2010. After that, the discount rate will no longer be available.

If you stay somewhere other than this hotel, ASBA will not be responsible for your hotel arrangements nor transportation from your hotel. 

How to Register

There are two ways to register for the Annual Meeting:

1. Via website online: Register and pay with credit card (MC/Visa) via PayPal by clicking on the "Begin" button at the bottom of this page. More than 80 percent of registrants used the registration website last year. Let’s aim for 100 percent this year!

2. By mail: Clip or copy registration form from the journal or download it from www.AmSocBotArtists.org. Complete the form and mail it along with your check (payable to the ASBA) to: American Society of Botanical Artists, 16th Annual Meeting, 2900 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY 10458-5126.

First come, first served: Please be assured that every effort will be made to insure fairness between modes of registration. Online registration/postmark date will be equal in terms of getting into workshops for the first week of registration, after that online registration will take precedence. As always, though, register as soon as you have made your decision to attend. That is always the best way to get what you want.
Confirmation: Sent via email only to those registering online or by US Postal Service and email to those registering by mail.
