Register NOW for the 17th Annual Meeting
and Conference in Boston!
Meet us on the shores of the Charles River outside of Boston for ASBA’s very first New England conference. Three action-packed days will feature Small Works 2011 Exhibition, the extraordinary chance to spend an evening at Harvard University’s Museum of Natural History, home to the Ware Collection of Blaschka Glass Models of Plants, and a wonderful mix of international, national and local artists and speakers offering a range of educational and entertaining options.
Come early for the pre-conference tour Flavor of Boston or sign up for Jean Emmons' pre-conference class, or stay after the conference for a three-day post-conference workshop with Elaine Searle or with Carol Woodin in scenic New Hampshire.
Register online and you’ll know right away if you are in the class; if it’s full, do put yourself on the waiting list. Make your selections and register ASAP to avoid disappointment.
If you’re registering by mail, be sure you make a first and second selection for each time slot. For instance, if your first choice on Friday is a full day workshop, check that in the first choice column. If your second choice would be two half-day workshops on Friday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, check both of them as your second choice. Do the same for all days.
As always, we ensure equity for those who register by mail or online. Last year, more than 90 percent of members used the online registration. Receiving instant gratification of knowing whether you got into a workshop is a great benefit to online registration. This year, we’re striving for 100 percent online registration.
Many activities are included in your registration fee. Lunch is provided each day, as is the banquet and two receptions. The Small Works Exhibition will be on display at the hotel from Thursday to Saturday (plan to submit a piece!) and be celebrated during a Friday night reception and awards ceremony. Saturday evening concludes with the Silent Auction and Banquet, featuring ASBA award announcements.
