Through discussion, demonstration, and practice, you will learn to transfer drawings, clean and refine the drawing before painting, and build color through transparent layering. Instruction on stretching vellum will be included. Understanding how to put down multiple layers of drybrush watercolor will provide you with additional latitude in watercolor whether working on vellum or paper. Students may bring their own vellum or purchase it from instructor. Limit 15. Fee: $450.
